STUDY OF THE TESTING ITEMS DETERMINING THE COURSE TYPE PROVIDED BY THE
COURSEBOOK “PROJECT
1” INTRODUCTION
We are willing to reveal the teaching and learning objectives of this
coursebook by going through a deeper study into the coursebook testing items.
Firstly the different testing items have been determined during the”
Ingilizce Sýnav Hazýrlama ve Deðerlendirme” courses held in the “Istanbul
University” English Language Teaching
Department in the first semester of
the 2000/2001.
Secondly examplifying the different test items it has been given
references to the other pages on which the same testing items have been used
with the same aims. Determining the aims has also been realized.
Lastly the results of the study have been stated in the conclusion part
of this study. THE SURVEY The
first test item which has been spotted is a listening and speaking skills
integrated item. Its
aim is to present the students with an input of the target language by a
listening activity , thus they can turn this input into an output by a speaking
activity. 1)
